Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can be also stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway by her, has given it some more recognition. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and being fascinated by the music it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music for a love rather as a career. She started writing lyrics of her own. Her influences include renowned writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love for Bjork's style. When her mother said that her songs would not just help her achieve fame however, they could also help others understand their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for the songs, she decided to begin playing in front of the public. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they can affect the world. The family members didn't know about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora's success was never her goal. The singer claims she is a fan of composing songs. For her, music is the best method to experience anything.
